5x5 board uses 4 kaudis: 1, 2, 3, 4, or 8. Rolling 4 or 8 gives another roll.
7x7 board uses 6 kaudis: 1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 6, or 12. Rolling 6 or 12 gives another roll.
Land on an opponent on a non-safe square to send that pawn back to yard. After one capture, your path can enter the inner ring.
Start squares and the center are safe. Pawns on safe squares cannot be captured.
Two same-color pawns on one non-goal square form a Gatti. It blocks opponents when the rule is enabled.
